As many of the patients are young in the 6-8 age range, there’s very little out there to bridge between their understanding of why they are at the orthodontist and what I or their parents can explain. This book is exactly that! I hear a lot of positive comments from little patients and their parents about how cute and relatable this book is. Well done!

As a teacher, I’m always on the lookout for books that educate and entertain at the same time, and this one does both beautifully. I included “My First Visit to the Orthodontist” in a health and wellness lesson for my second graders, and they loved it!
